La finance et les grands industriels du CAC 40 investissent dans la presse, dans l’audiovisuel et dans les télécoms. Comment faire vivre pluralisme dans cet univers ?</strong></p><p><strong>Peut-il encore exister des journaux indépendants des pouvoirs financiers ? Ce n’est pas qu’une question de moyens, c’est avant tout une question politique. Aujourd’hui, des titres comme l’Humanité, la Croix, le Monde diplomatique, Politis, ou encore la Marseillaise (…), indépendants des entreprises du CAC 40, doivent démultiplier des trésors d’imagination pour vivre. Paradoxe, les quotidiens qui perçoivent le plus d’aides à la presse sont aussi ceux qui sont adossés aux milliardaires de ce pays.</strong></p><p>Le phénomène est global. Tous les continents sont touchés par la concentration des médias. En quelques années, de nouveaux acteurs, souvent de l’Internet et des télécoms, de riches industriels sont venus bouleverser l’univers médiatique et mettre la main sur l’information mondiale. Dans son dernier rapport, Reporters sans frontières (RSF), qui estime que la concentration des médias n’a jamais été aussi forte dans le monde.</p><p>En France aussi, selon ce rapport, une poignée de milliardaires contrôle 90 % des médias.</p><p>Quelques médias résistent à ce déferlement.
